Bowling with the fam

These pictures didn't really turn out, but I wanted to write about it anyways. We went up to Tucson a couple of weeks ago and took the kids bowling. The girls had a lot of fun, and I bowled over 100 for the first time in my life!! Of course, we were using bumpers. There was only one lane available and you had to either have them up or down the whole time, so we left them up. Otherwise the girls never would have hit a single pin.

Here's some pictures of Jake helping Lyla push the ball down the lane. Neither of them could seem to give the ball enough force to keep going until the end of the lane.
Funny story though was that there was some sort of bowling thing going on while we were there and I only took 2 pictures (the two above) and we had people complaining that the camera flash was throwing off their game. We also got many a dirty look if our kids tried to venture out of our area. Everyone seemed so annoyed that we would take our kids to a bowling alley in the middle of the day. Go figure.

That is weird that people would get annoyed at bowling. Maybe it is not seen as a family place out of UT (the only place I've bowled). But then again they do offer bumpers. -Hannah

I'm enjoying that Lyla is cheesing for the camera and Jake is intensely focusing on bowling.
