On Friday, March 13th, the entire Kindergarten had a Disneyland Party as it was a half day and the day before spring break. They had to earn this party by walking enough miles to get to disneyland, 555 miles. Starting in January the kids would take laps of the field before going to play at recess and they could choose to walk as many laps as they wanted. When the kindergarten had walked enough laps to make it to disneyland they were given the disneyland party. Our newpaper just published an article on the event in their Schools section and Mckayla was in the picture for it! Here is the link to the full story:
