Jake decided that we needed to cut Jaxon's hair to make him look more like a little boy and not a little hoodlum. Also so that the girls would be less tempted to fill his hair with bows and barretts. Above is a picture from his birthday to show how long his hair was. And, for those who don't know, this is his 3rd haircut, not his first. We just had waited awhile between haircuts this time with all of the moving around. His hair just grows super fast.

Here's a chunk of the clippings we swept up. Some of the pieces were 3 inches long!
Jaxon did okay at first, but then he got sick of it. I think he liked the skater look.
This is him playing on the playground with his new 'do. He looks so much older with short hair, and he looks like a little boy now instead of a little baby. It's crazy what a haircut will do.

He's so cute- I can't believe he's already a year! I'm always amazed when I see pictures of any of your kids, how much they look like you and Jake both. A perfect mix of both of you.
